Scottish rockers The Jesus and Mary Chain have been jamming la malcontent for 40 a long time with no intention of languishing, though the duos latest album, Glasgow Eyes, could have enthusiasts sniffing close to for a swan track. (Its in no way very clear, and thats part of the pleasurable). With its signature slinky, scuzzy, propulsive rock that revels in the rebellious, J.A.M.C. hits musical corners both experimental and electronic when hazily howling at the altar of sex, drugs, and rock n roll. Glasgow Eyes delivers no surprises, but it does pose the issue of what to anticipate following the huge 4-o.
