A Familiar Stranger

She wasn’t staring at him merely because he was very attractive. He looked familiar. Where had she seen him before?  He didn’t notice her staring at him because he was now busy texting.  Who was he texting?  His wife?  His girlfriend?  Why should it matter to her who he was texting?

Suddenly, he glanced up and their eyes met.  Then, he was walking towards her.  Her heart began to beat faster.  When he reached her, she recognized him.  He wrote about a Bantu chief finding Christ in the best-selling novel, A Warrior’s Pilgrimage.
